Anxious to see what Noland can do in there.

Started 3-3 and our longest play from scrimmage so far. He throws a nice looking pass.

He should quit football until the line gets better and focus on the College World Series

I used to hate Petrino for what happened to our football program, but I don't bear him any ill will anymore.

It's not his fault we've won a total of 11 (!) conference games since 2013, and 4 in the last 3 years combined. He didn't hire Bret Bielema, lose 17 straight SEC games, allow Bert to be lazy as frick and recruit D-II talent, stand idly by while our locker room imploded, and send us to the rock bottom of the SEC for a half decade.

frick Bret Bielema and Jeff Long forever for what they did to Arkansas football.

Well, Jeff Long bears the brunt of it, but things were going pretty well until Petrino acted a fool.

I don't blame Bielema. I blame the guy who hired him.

I mean, if you wanted to pay ME that kind of money to coach football here I would do it. Can't blame someone for taking a multi million dollar job.

But you can blame the guy who made the bad hire.

Twice. Three times. Petrino, Smith, Bielema. All bad hires.

Both Long and Bert deserve the blame.

Bert for allowing our SEC talent deficit and locker room culture to spiral out of control, and Long for sitting idly by and letting it happen.

Both of those guys killed Razorback football and dug the almost insurmountable hole that we're in now. Hell, most of our fans have come to accept our newfound shittiness. I've never seen our fan base this apathetic.

Oh, I certainly don't have any love lost for Bielema. I think he's an idiot. But IMO, we are where we are because of Long and Petrino. What a coupla goons those two are.

I put all the blame at the feet of Jeff Long. He made the three hires.

Petrino, Smith, and Bielema are who they are.

One a-hole, and two shitty college football coaches.

I'm more than happy with the way Chad seems to be recruiting and that is an absolute for us ever to dig out of this hole.

I'm just not convinced that Chad has the coaching and administrative skills needed for this monumental job.

Certainly hope that he does. If not it's going to be a long, long time before Arkansas football is close to be relevant again.

Basically it’s Mississippi State part II. I don’t remember us ever being this bad by repeatedly being blown out and not competitive at all. Just pathetic and who knows when we will have any real interest in Arkansas football again.

I think we've just witnessed the end of the worst of it. I don't think next year, although it probably will be unremarkable (but maybe show promise), will be any worse and could be slightly better.

I think we have seen the end of the Storey. And probably Kelley, don't know if he even made the trip.

Here's to signing the best class in a long time if they all stick, maybe getting Bryant (not holding my breath, my hope is fading every day) and getting another off season and spring out of the way and improving.

I'm just happy its over. Much like a root canal its not going to be pleasant. All you can do is lay there while they drill on an exposed nerve.

Its the end of the worst season in Arkansas football history. I can live with that. We will take our share, and more, of lumps on the forum. Well we've taken them before. We shall see what next year brings.

Our O-Line doesn't even TRY to block. That's as much coaching as it is talent. Effort goes a long ways and we have none.

I realize how bad our talent is...but our effort is even worse. We should honestly have just forfeited that game and stayed home.

I don't think it gets any better next year. maybe 3 wins. I guess Noland plays baseball instead of spring practice? Not sure how that works

ETA at least Colton Jackson is coming back
