I know its historically one-sided, but they are a great, 2nd tier all-time program, the game determines the west typically and boy do they hate you.

Hmm, not a historical one like UT or Auburn but as far as a real one goes, I would say so. LSU hasn't always been great but they are the one team that a lot of Bama fans seem to sweat the most.

Most fans don't, but I believe Saban and the players do. He'll throw around "rivalry" in his pressers next week.

Seeing them come out of the woodwork and post about LSU I would say yes.

A rival in terms of historical and traditional sense, no.
A rival in terms of being the one consistent team over the last decade with the horses to match up with the Tide, absolutely.

They're clearly a rival but I don't put them up there with UT or Auburn because I don't have any hate for them. Hell, I root for them in most of their games.
