Why does the Aggies have the “Little Brother” complex?

It’s obvious, “The Aggie War Hymn” is about big brother in Austin with “Goodbye to Texas University” and “Gig em Aggies” is about gigging the TCU Horn Frogs.
What’s up with that?

It's not just that one line. Virtually the whole damn song is about The University of Texas.

Have you seen their record against Texas? Makes our record against clemson seem benign.

I mean why does Bama's fight song talk about the PAC conference and Georgia Tech?
Does that mean they are the PAC's little bro or Georgia Tech's little bro? No way.
The answer is fight songs are often holdovers from previous eras.
quote:
Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!
Every 'Bama man's behind you, Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's a shame!
For Bama's pluck and grit have Writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men! Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then.
Go, roll to victory,
Hit your stride,
You're Dixie's football pride,
Crimson Tide, Roll Tide,
Roll Tide!!
Does that mean they are the PAC's little bro or Georgia Tech's little bro? No way.
The answer is fight songs are often holdovers from previous eras.

The two programs in the Nation with the biggest Little Brother complex are A&M and Auburn. In that order. Both are the very definition of ‘Little Brother’ schools.
Both are also cow colleges. No coincidence.

Agree.

Disagree. Ole Miss takes this spot despite the fact that they are technically the big brother. The insecurity is strong with that group. It's like if Texas actually gave a shite about A&M.

Aggie is and will always be the little brother. They aren’t “The” University of Texas.

Am I little brother because I anxiously awaited this Louisville game all day? In my defense, a chance to watch a rival on a Friday night is a pretty good deal.

Why does you not know how to structure a proper sentence?

We are THE Texas Aggies though. One and only.

It’s funny when new fans discover things that are 100 years old. If UK were in Texas you’d be 5th best. You’re no one on the gridiron. It’d be like A&M calling y’all little bro to ULnin hoops.
