Bama fans, will you be dissatisfied if this team fails to win the national championship?

This team is getting a large amount of praise compared to past Bama teams, starting to remind me of the treatment 2005 USC was given.

Will anything short of winning the CFP be considered a disappointment for this squad?

Don’t see why they wouldn’t.

Is that even a question? Of course! Since we won our first under Saban back in 2009, every season we haven't won the national championship has been a severe disappointment because we have had the talent to do so.

It's no different than any other year. Expectations are always the same.

Let me be clear we expect to be in the National Championship Game every year. That is the standard that Coach Saban has brought. It is also why we have more National Championships than any other Program.

We expect to win the National Championship this year the year after that and the year after that.

as Gus would say we are young. I would be disappointment but look at how young and inexperienced our D is.. IF we don't win it will be because of the D. On the O side our QB. 3 WR's and our main TE are all sophomores.

They are deserving of praise.

This is the Offense they expected with Kiffin to go along with the defense.

BAMA settles for nothing short of excellence, so why would anything short of a NC in any season be accepted?

Roll Tide.

Disappointed yes but it’s hard to complain when Bama fans have had so much enjoyment the last ten years. All that can really be expected is for Alabama to be in the CFP discussion center me November And December. When Alabama is no longer a part of that discussion is when I’ll be dissatisfied.

Regardless of who you cheer for, if you aren't disappointedby not winning a national title, then you've accepted mediocrity.

I don't see a 2005 Texas juggernaut out there so yes it would be a massive disappointment if they don't win it all.

If I was a part of the team, I'd be incredibly dissatisfied.

As a fan, no. I'm at the point where I just enjoy watching them play.

If they lose, I'll talk about why I think they lost and stuff like that. But I won't be upset. Alabama under Saban has proven everything they need to.

Generally yes.

How dissatisfied would depend on the circumstances surrounding the loss.
