Alabama presently has 5 NOTs; LSU's ability to prevent NOTs will play a big role when they play.

What's a NOT?

leaving your 1s in the entire game on both offense and defense
but that's not what happened against la tech. la tech scored the 21 when aranda started subbing after lsu had opened up a large lead.

Good gosh these threads are getting worse by the minute.

By the time the actual week of Bama/LSU gets here all threads will just be pictures of turds and LOLSU as the subject

We never struggled Should have scored close to 60 pts on them but fumbled twice inside the five yard line due to the rain after great drives. But keep on thinking we “struggled”

Are we the only team you guys play before the playoffs? I thought our game was in November...

Personally I don't care how much YARDS we give up. If we keep them from scoring is all that matters only takes 1 point more to win a game

Genuinely perplexed here.

stayed in pass protection much of the time and only sent 2 or 3 receivers vs 5-7 db's.

LSU: Running against 9-man fronts, and throwing into triple coverage since 1893.

I mean this is all bullshite until the end of the schedule really, especially for bama since they wont be playing a ranked team until week 9. Obviously bama has a great defense but are we really supposed to give a frick about them shutting down louisville, who scored 3 points on Virginia?

Why couldn't you use "Rankings vs Top 25"?

I selected FBS teams because CFBstats doesn't give the offensive and defensive rankings of FCS schools. As for "Top 25", that doesn't really have anything to do with the metrics presented. Holding Washington State to 200 yards passing would be a major accomplishment, as they average over 400 ypg in the air. Your process would eliminate that because Wash St's defense couldn't keep USC from scoring (which would have nothing to do with stopping Wash St's offense).

Also, that metric means more at the end of the season when teams end up in or out of the Top 25.

You gotta add the (STATISTICALLY) best defense in the SEC.

Rank the strength of schedules.. That's what matters. Anyone can look good playing high school teams.

Except lsu. They look like what they really are playing against SELU and tech.

They were tired from playing a real schedule unlike you guys so I give them a pass vs La Tech. As soon as we needed to put them away we did....what you saw last week is what you should expect more of.

You mean putting up large offensive numbers against an ankle grabbing football team?

We all need to give the lsu offense a standing ovation. It was able put almost identical offensive numbers on ole miss as that FCS powerhouse Southern illinois university.

Congratulations?

Riiiiiiiiight...

Lets face it - Your post is completely irrelevant at this point. Bama has played all shitty teams (minus one), whereas, LSU has played two top 10 teams and the rest shitty. Not enough games have been played for a thread like this.

Normally I wouldn't mind, but apparently if the results don't equate to, "Team X has the largest dick in the universe, so big it causes a massive black hole to form and destroys the solar system", then people bitch, whine and complain.
