Having seen both Alabama and LSU...

I think Alabama will beat LSU pretty handily. Ole Miss played as bad of a game as it possibly could but it was a 2 score game on the road late in the 3rd, and that's with Wilford Brimley tackling Ole Miss players at least 3 times. LSU didn't run the ball very well until the 4th when the back-ups were in and Ole Miss had success running the ball (why Ole Miss didn't run the ball more is a mystery)
I think Alabama wins something like 27-10 but the game isn't as close as the score. LSU's DBs over Bama's WRs are probably the only match-up I see in LSU's favor.

Bama is FRICKED
ETA Bama has to come TO death valley for a night game.
It will be an undefeated LSU vs a one loss Bama. (Surely we run the table against Florida, Georgia and MSU and bama will slip up against ARK, Tennessee or Missouri)
.
We will put our foot on their throats and break their seasons spirits.

Wow, I didn't realize it was already Bama/LSU week... I guess it's always LSU week on the SEC Rant.

way to go out on a limb

meh, it was a 3 score game from the middle of the 2nd quarter through most of the rest of the game. Yes, ole Miss cut it to a 2 score game in the 3rd quarter and LSU immediately responded with a TD drive. LSU compleetely dominated that game from start to finish. If LSU doesn't fumble twice in the RZ, which has been very uncharacteristic of them this year, they win that game 59-16

LSU had 124 rushing yards at halftime and that includes a 12 yard loss on a sack

27? Points? Total? For the whole game?

You mean to tell me Alabama’s better than LSU? What astounding insight.

It's settled then you spoke. No need to play the game now.
In all seriousness Alabama looks better at this point no doubt. LSU has 3 tough games to deal with before. It's hardly a sure thing this will be a top 5 match up at that point.

If we're going to throw out IFs and uncharacteristic actins, then you have to throw out 17 penalties and 5 first half WR drops by Ole Miss, which also changes the complexion of the game greatly.

I'm not the one trying to insinuate a 29 point win, one that came with a 22 point halftime lead, was closer than it appeared, bud
LSU won by 29 points, had nearly 600 yards of offense, and outgained Ole Miss by 250 yards. It was a beat down no matter how you try to slice it.
It's also rather silly trying to predict what will happen in the LSU/Alabama game based on how each did against Ole Miss. Both destroyed them and coasted.
Yes, Alabama looks to be the better team, but using the Ole Miss game as the reason why is pretty dumb

LSU has two All-Americans at DB. Who are the All-Americans at WR for Bama?
