I was thinking to myself.... what does happen to Bama after Saban retires??? Who is next? Do they have too much pressure from the fanbase and ESPN to win? Who would the fanbase like to see afterwards?

This goes for every fan-base who would you see next after your coach is gone?

Your future is even consumed by Bama. Living rent-free regardless of time and space.

They will absolutely have a tremendous amount of pressure from the media. Thats undeniable.

As an LSU fan im hoping they fall flat on their faces. BUT one of Saban’s disciples probably gets promoted to the Head Coaching job.

Either way you slice it, once he is gone recruiting will take a step back and CFB will be more of a fair game.

His recruiting is so easy that kids come running to Bama because he doesn’t even have to make an effort to get the kids he wants. They know if they go to Bama they will win atleast 1 CFB championship.

Like alot of these Louisiana recruits that go to Bama, they are just shallow minded and only see the rings. I’d rather be on the team to dethrone the bully, but majority of these boys want to be with the bully.

They will interview many candidates and end up hiring a coach who is better than Gus Malzahn

LSU fans will tell you that Dabo will never come here because he’ll have been at Clemson for too long.

They know he will when the time comes, but they don’t want to think about that right now

There will be a drop off...I think the first call will be to Dabo...if he accepts, won't be a big drop off...if he rejects us, then the drop off will probably be significant...

Bama after Emmert is going to be their problem. They wouldn't know what to do if the NCAA popped up and brought sanctions for their little random coaches giving players money and they got something like Ole Miss for it.

Dabo or Jimbo. Rolls along just the same for a few years, then there's a slight drop off and everyone loses their minds

frick Alabama. I hope saban coaches there too long and they put him out to pasture like the semenholes did ol Bobby. Meanwhile his senile old arse drives that program into oblivion. Would be nice.

LSU has never been relevant until Saban arrived there. After he left they were able to hire a big name due to the talent they had and they were able to ride that wave for a while. Bama will still have talent whenever Saban leaves which will make it easier to hire a big name. I don't expect Bama to continue this level of ridiculous success but I would hope that we can still pull top 5 classes and compete for conf titles. Just don't fall off a cliff...

They keep winning. Saban is given a golden thrown to sit on sidelines in as he watches the new coach. If he doesn't win then Saban screams, "Off with they're heads," until they keep winning.
I don't think you realize the impact of Saban. This Bama program will continue to win, for basically forever. Of course forever is a pretty long time, but we must except what will be. In the end if we all just let it be and use the serenity prayer the better off we will be. I don't see Bama ever losing again.

I actually don't think it will be Dabo. But whether it's him or anyone else, no one will be able to replicate the success Saban has had. Dude is a once in a lifetime coach. Alabama will probably content for a natty once every few years, but I doubt you'll be able to pencil them in every year like you can now.

Dabo is a pretty good coach, but even he can't hold Saban's jock.

I would hire Les, he would at least keep it going and win one or two more.
