Compare Tua to all time SEC great QBs

Compare to Cam Newton, Tebow, Russell

I will wait until he finishes his career to compare his career. Does look good so far though.

There's no way he wins as many games as Tebow. Tebow was 35-6 as a starter. Tua will, at most, start in 30 games.
Also, while what Tua is doing is incredible, he will not get close to sniffing the all-time greats statistically.
Let's look at the first 4 games of Tebow's sophomore season:
65-95, 68.4%, 1096 Yards, 10 TDs, 1 INT
70 Rushes, 358 yards, 7 TDs
Tua's first 4 starts:
58-80, 1033 Yards, 72.5%, 12 TDs
18 Rushes, 103 Yards, 2 TDs

He hasn’t faced a team with any semblance of a defense yet this year and he won’t until bama plays LSU! You crowning him greatest of all time is about as dumb as your post history !

This is bama’s schedule . It is a complete joke. He is a great QB and bama always has a great team , but bama has played nobody.
The best team they played is a7m who can’t stop anybody.

Bama has played no good defense yet this year. He is a great QB , but greatest of all time? Lol . He has a long way to go to prove that.

I think Tua will go down as an all time great, but people will always criticize the schedule. Further, he’ll get unjust criticism for being on a team with too much talent. He makes it look effortless being protected by five stars on the o line and throwing to five stars down field.
But the comparisons to Drew Brees seem apt at this point. He has that innate ability to be aware of the entire field and make a quick decision and accurate throw for a completion to any receiver.
It’ll be interesting though to see him face a good defense like LSU or Auburn.

Plus, he just made one lucky pass against busted coverage. Just wait until next year when teams are preparing for him instead of Hurts.

I’m not saying this at all! I think he is a very good QB but how can anyone including a bama fan crown him greatest of all time when he hasn’t played a team with a pulse on defense this year. I would be very optimistic but wouldn’t it be smart to see him put up the numbers against great defenses before crowning him ???

Tebow was a shitty QB. He was basically Jalen that was somewhat better at passing.
Cam was very good, but only played one year.
I think Tua will do better in the pros than both. But the fact he's on the bench by the half most games is gonna hurt him stat wise. That's a credit to both him, Jalen, and our defense.

I guess we will see . The only good defense bama plays all year is LSU and Auburn unless ya’ll make it to the SEC championship and play Georgia.
This has to be the easiest schedule that bama has ever had right? I would hope that Tua could light up that schedule
