This post seems messed up to me. LSU muddles their identity so bad that it just boils back down to O being your coach and you yourselves love it and hate it at the same time. LSU is fricked up.

Good point. If he did that to FSU imagine what he can do to a lesser program used to quitting like A&M.

Jimbo left the OL in shambles and was HORRIBLE at getting receivers developed. So there goes the offense.

The defense is horrible due to coaching most likely.

There is a type of player that selected FSU that doesn't bode well for character AND it will only get worse under the current guy.

I think some of FSUs current struggles absolutely fall on Jimbo.

My perception is he understands X and Os and is good at creating a system of luring big time recruits, but doesn't understand how to build team chemistry. I don't think he ever bats an eye at signing questionable characters.

Jimbos ex-wife had an affair with a former player prior to the season last year. That changed Jimbos life far more than anything that has ever happened on the field. Jimbo was leaving Tallahassee regardless of what job came open. I don't think his mind was on football for most of the 2017 season.

Jimbo and staff recruited too many "projects" on the OL and the new staff has had the misfortune of most of them not panning out. They've got a tough, good QB, a very good RB tandem and serviceable WR's and a defense that's keeping them in games. Their offensive line could not keep Samford out of the backfield. Let that sink in. They are going to be a shitshow until they can get the OL turned around and that doesn't happen overnight ANYWHERE!

Yes he did. His wife basically destroyed him. And the Aggy bag man is trying, hoping, praying, he can resurrect himself. But Aggy will never see the success FSU has or will again. I hope Saban hangs a hundred on them!!!

LSU didn't hire Jimbo because LSU's AD is just like FSU's.

you're full of shite. LSU offered Fisher virtually the same that A&M did except a 5 year deal instead of the insane 10 year deal. it was a done deal until the last game of the year; heavily rumored the governor of La (asshat Jindale) killed the deal due to the impression it made on the taxpayers when the state was suffering a "financial crises" due to lowered oil revenues.

you may hate joe alleva but he DID NOT kill that deal; he put the son of a bitch together. he had the sense to keep his job by giving the politicians their way w/o airing things out in public.

I guess this shows you what will happen to Bama when Saban retires next year... it can all be gone in an instant... 25 years of mediocrity to follow...

This winter could cause chaos. I don't see Alabama fans trying to get their GEDs. Riots await. There's nothing else to expect.
