Needless to say, the Ole Miss offense is really good.

It’s because you had to score 70 points to beat Southern Illinois.

The #1 offense takes on the #8 defense. I like our chances.

Total Offense

1 Texas A&M 629.5
2 Mississippi 596.0
3 Missouri 579.5
4 Mississippi State 578.0
5 Alabama 559.0
6 Auburn 493.5
7 Georgia 490.5
8 South Carolina 446.5
9 Kentucky 440.5
10 Arkansas 435.0
11 Vanderbilt 407.0
12 Florida 403.0
13 Tennessee 357.5
14 LSU 315.5

It really is simply amazing that we have those kinds of numbers while one of our two games was Clemson. Their defense is filthy, as this year will show.

We don't know how good uga is.

Jake fromm has played just over 4 quarters of football in 2018. We've had comfortable enough leads and we have recruited well enough the past 2 classes to empty the benches and trust the young talent to be productive.

Well, we are 2-0, so there's that.

The only offense in the SEC incapable of scoring 70 by leaving their starters in for 4 quarters against Southern Illinois is LSU.

South Dakota pulled their starters against them last year after going up 42-0.

It's hard to say that a team that is consensus in the top 2 or 3 is vastly underrated, but this Clemson team might be. There are some pretty good football minds out there who think this team could be historically good.

Serious question. Why is it that on every message board known to mankind that every Ole Miss fan sees a 10 win season except here? Is it because deep down inside you also believe it but think you are sandbagging everyone but want to play it safe just in case?

I mean every OM fan I even talk to in person thinks they are going to shock everyone this year. So why don't you guys just be honest and tell us what you really think?
