Someone asked a question about former assistants becoming head coaches and recruiting (I can't remember the exact question).
Saban's response was that he hated to see negative recruiting against the program by former assistants. He then went on to say that the negative recruiting wasn't working and he went on to call the coach he was referring to "insignificant".

Thanks for the info. However, Saban could have been talking about any number of former assistants, many of whom are not employed as head coaches. They could be current assistants.

No, he was talking about a current head coach. It was very clear who he was talking about.

I hope Saban learn from Smart situation. That recruiting board better be in a room with cctv installed.

I'm pretty sure he called out Jalen as well. He was ranting about players complaining they only played 15 or so plays. It was more of a veiled shot and it was scathing.

Isn't Lane a former and current HC and someone who would definitely negative recruit against Saban if he could.

That would require Saban taking him seriously. That ship has sailed.
The part about Jalen was almost surreal. He talked about how other "people" viewing their tapes and only seeing 15 plays, made it obvious he was talking about Jalen and his quest to transfer.

Well if Jalen didn't go 3 and out each series, he would have more snaps on film.

I highly doubt he was talking about Jalen.

I heard last season that he lost the team after the Mississippi State game. I thought it was absurd at the time since he led us to a last minute win. But I was told by someone who would know, that the locker room speech he claimed to have giving after that game never actually happened. Apparently him making that up pissed off a lot of players. (that's if what I was told is true).

Why would Najee complain about playing time after missing a couple of weeks of practice? Also, why would Najee complain about only having 15 plays from the game on his tape for others to see? Najee is a true Sophomore, worrying about his "tape" right now is pointless.

That's not the complete transcript but it's pretty obvious who he's referring to.
Is the show archived anywhere after it airs? If so, listen to it. It was pretty entertaining and revealing.
