Dude was playing at an elite level last night. It was like having Reggie Ragland and Landon Collins all rolled into one.

He played great in the NCG as well. Very fast and athletic.

His range is awesome! QBs will have no choice but to throw ropes, because if they put any air on it, he will make them pay.

What Tua is doing at the QB position is what Deionte is doing at safety. It's beautiful to see.

I remember him laying some big hits last season and remembering us bringing him in expecting him to be more of a haha-type ball hawk. Dude is ready. I also think his dad posts on BOL. At least he used to.

Yeah, I thought Thompson played out of his mind. I was pleased with Trevon Diggs' effort as well.

Diggs looks night and day different (in a good way) compared to FSU game last season.

Every year a player makes HUGE strides from their first year of playing time to the next...Millner comes to mind.

Thompson played like a 1st Rd pick. Has the range of Ha Ha and he hits like Reuben Foster.

The upgrade from Hootie is just astronomical. I’m on the verge of an early proclamation of best safety in the Saban era.

I'm watching the replay of the game right now on the SEC Network. Thompson was all over that field. Definitely his breakout game.

His feel for where passes are going is just ridiculous
