Nope. Tebow. DWI.

In terms of college play? That's a hillariously bad take. Tebow won 2 national championships and a Heisman. It's not possible for his college carrer to be "overhyped"

Jeremy Johnsons jump in Heisman odds is warranted

Oh how quickly they forget . . .

The Michael Sam draft day shite was definitely the most vile One day hype I've ever seen. nauseating. Other than that, Tua is looking like a good candidate. Too early yet.

Since Tua threw 77 passes for 11 TD's, does that mean I can expect 42 TD passes this year if he throws 300 times? I think it does.

You just turn the game on in overtime? He brought Bama back from nothing to win the game.

You just turn the season on in the NCG? He wasn't the one making the plays that got them into that game to start with.

He made a lot of major plays in the NCG. Brought his team back from 13 points down.

He had a play against Vandy last year that was better then any play he had in the NCG.

If every team quits before the game starts and the starters are on the bench then maybe. That's who he played against mostly (aside from a half against UGA). Bama fans can't grasp the concept of being a starter vs playing in the 4th quarter against 3rd string. Plus all Tua has heard all offseason is how great he is. It won't matter how much talent he has if he can't mentally over come that.

Probably Tim Tebow, for starters.

Yeah that was the defense along with Hurts, Ridley, Harris, OL, etc.

It took a few seasons for Tebow to get 2. That's great. Tua got one by playing a half of football.

If Bama fans had the brains to learn they wouldn't be arguing with people on here about Tua's hype being off 1 play and not ignore all the plays he made that were negative or would have been 99% of the time in the same situation. They can't even tell the difference in starting a game and coming in to a game losing.

But we will see soon. With all the hype Bama fans have put on him we will see if he can handle thinking he has to live up to the hype without forcing mistakes.

So, if he's pretty good, we just got lucky in our predictions?

Also, is it ok if I call you when I need to know something about football? Or text?

Your fans have gone way beyond pretty good. They already have him in the group with Peyton and Brady. I thought they were bad when they were hyping up Blake Barnett and Cornwell but this tops it all.

Yes, this seems unique to Bama fans. I'll bet you have lots of stories about a 5 star freshman who came in and saved a national championship for Auburn but the level-headed tiger fans took it all in stride and erred on the side of very cautious optimism about the future of that player. Maybe you can text those stories to me.

Had UGA played that bad when Hurts was in Bama would have won the same. That's was a case of UGA losing the game. Had they caught the picks he tried to throw to them Bama would have never been in it.

Oh, I see. Good teams just play best when Jalen is in. I had convinced myself it's easier to play defense well when the opposition is extremely one-dimensional. But, it's just coincidental. I guess the Tua dream is dead.
