the premise on here is majority of Clemson fans want to be in SEC. i don't thinkk that is true, at least among alumni.

clemson is a founding member of the ACC.

Miami, FSU, Clemson, G Tech, Pitt and probably others have won national title.

Given ACC has 6 private schools and schools up north, it makes sense that it won't be as consistent in football compared to other sports. the SEC has the best recruiting footprint.

Despite this natural advantage for SEC, the ACC is 24-20 against SEC the past 4 years.

i think it is pretty cool being in the ACC b/c it gives the teams an underdog David vs Goliath thing in matchups with the 'bluebloods'. lol

you can tell losing to an ACC school in the natty two years ago has damaged many Alabama fans for life.

But why couldn’t you score a touchdown last year.. just one damn touchdown.

So we keep hearing that y'all keep telling recruits they have a much lesser chance of being catastrophically injured playing in the ACC.

But I guess, in a way, it may be true. Evidently y'all are totin' around the paperwork and stats to prove it when you go knockin' on Momma's door.

Look, its pretty simple: Clemson fans love discussing football 365 with other fans who love college football as much as they do. They love the ACC, and as a founding member, would never leave, but....with 6 private schools, northern schools, and basketball first schools, they don’t have as many football buddies the ACC.

Play nice with them. And give them their due, Dabo has built a top 3 program.

First...this is one of the frequent threads about Clemson by SEC SEC fans wanting to bitch about something.

Most Clemson fans I know have ZERO interest in joining the SEC SEC. The ACC has proven it has everything Clemson and any other school needs to win national titles in football....

We are quite fine where we are. Most of the schools in the SEC SEC that have been nothing more than well-paid doormats in this conference would crawl on their bellies through broken glass to have the last 10 years of success that Clemson has enjoyed....The next 10 years look pretty good also.

I guess being one of the perennial losers of the SEC is not as important as being able to say that while your team sucks, we are an SEC SEC team and while other schools in this league are winning championships our team is somehow relevant because the SEC SEC won.

A league of well-paid jobbers bending the knee to Alabama and riding their coattails of amazing success so they can somehow be perceived as relevant because they are in the SEC SEC.

That doesn't address my comment that Clemson threads are created by many SEC SEC fans....
