I'm amused how much schools who have nothing to do with this are weighing in. TX stated they, not us, get to choose when we will play again. Our AD told them to fu** off. We would have to adjust our schedules, break agreements with other schools to accommodate them. But by all means, bash us for keeping our commitments to our schedule.

Mostly every other SEC school plays their instate rival from a different conference. Hell even UF plays FSU and Miami in the same year sometimes.
Alabama and Auburn did not play each other for 40 years.

It sounds to me like the prior Texas athletic director was a massive front hole and ended the series.
