Is this the same knee that was injured last year?

I read a while back that some people are more prone to ACL tears because of thickness of the ligament and anatomy of the knee. If he does have another ACL injury, the good news is that surgical repair will rectify that predisposition. I hope not necessary, but folks on 247 saying this threatens his career are most likely over-reacting.

I read an article and saw a picture on DawgNation that his first injury was on his right knee. Hope this is not a legit story for his sake.

Man that sucks and I really hate it for Zamir. I hope, for this kid, that he doesn’t have snakebit luck like Lattimore and several other players through the years. I said Cook would have more of an impact in the other prediction thread, but certainly didn’t want it to be like this. Also really hope the rumors around a lingering issue with Swift aren’t true.

I hate this not just because he's phenomenally good, but because we don't have anyone else with that specific size/skillset to replace him. The closest would be holyfield, which is likely a less good version of zamir's best. I'm sky high on cook but he's completely different than zamir. Bama every year has these big bodied RBs that look like linebackers and can fly and that's what I expected zamir to be which we now don't have. We'll roll with swift/holyfield/cook which is not a slouchy lineup in the least bit, but man it'd have been nice to have zamir in there.

I guess it might be better to go into 2019 with a 100% ready to roll zamir instead of 2018 with a ~70% zamir?
