Who are some SEC freshman that would’ve been drafted in the first round?

IDK but Ed Oliver is probably the readiest college freshmen I have ever seen.

Michael Dyer SHOULD have gone if this rule existed. It all went down hill for him after the championship year.

College football would be so terrible with a one and done.
I don't understand how big time basketball fans can get fired up year after year when they always are getting unknown players.
Half the fun is anticipation of seeing players grow from year to year.

Fournette. No questions asked. I think if Manziel would’ve left sophomore or freshman year he probably would’ve panned out better or flopped even harder.

Clowney, and that's about it for players the past 10-15 years that I can think of. I don't think Fournette would have after his freshman year. He would have been drafted but not in the 1st round.

Football is so different because you need the physical development and technique that you just cannot get in high school. The number of NFL ready freshmen can probably be counted on one hand a decade at a time.
