Many of the educated LSU fans (That have a degree from LSU or elsewhere) are more concerned with the long term stability of the program. We're not that concerned about individual wins and one winning season; the one that's right around the corner.

The uneducated LSU fans (Pump Lump Nut Butter Cheerleader MA's) are shallow and can only see what's right there in front of them. They really don't care about W-L record or SEC West/SEC Championships.

The "Ed's" (Educated) are not interested in the "Meds." (Mediocrity)

While we would never openly pull for LSU to lose a game or have a losing season, it's at the point now where one season of sacrificial defeats would be acceptable if it produces the desired results of removing the main Cancer (Alleva) and then cutting out the remaining disease (Orgeron) so that body can rebuild and become healthy again.

Many of us are completely out of patience and are ready to pull the plug if this thing gets out of hand. (IF it gets out of hand)

Of course all the simple minded cretins (There are many) can't grasp this concept and are only concerned about winning the next game. They don't really care about Championships. They're only worried about procuring their tailgate spot, making sure the beer is cold and having a good party.

Mediocrity reigns supreme. (For themselves, their life, the State of Louisiana, Louisiana State University and the LSU football program)

They just don't care if LSU is 7-5 or 12-0. It's all good. What happens in Tiger Stadium is irrelevant. They jes wanna have sum funs Cher, you know. Les Bon Temps Roulet. Let the good time Roll.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are looking ahead and preparing for the future just in case disaster strikes in 2018. (Prospective new AD's and HC's have already been contacted through the normal informal third party channels to judge their interest so the move can be made when it's time)

You have a $75 Mil debt to pay out over the next 10 yrs and you are worried about LSU which you have not beat in 23 yrs...

How bad will the melt be when it goes to 24 yrs and High Dollar Jimbo loses to The Shrimp Boat Captain?

I would say Missouri is the one that this year does matter.

frick yes.

We are not the Aggies that love to do the "I dont expect anything for the next two years" bullshite

There is literally zero reason why we are not competitive in every game we play.

Didn't you see all the swamp kittens comparing getting Joe Barrel from Ohio State the equivalent of getting Cam Newton? That the Barrel transfer isn't like every other career backup transfer, but it's like getting an eventual Heisman winner.

YES

We all know you're set up for failure this year being led by O, having a sub-par OC
Your opinion of Coach O means nothing, his record last year is better than you 70 Million dollar coach

a much less talented running game
LSU's running game is better than yours

a very unfavorable schedule
You got us on this and we do have a tough schedule but it is what it is

quote:

you actually looking forward to 2018
Yes we are looking forward to the season as this is what fans and athletes look forward to. Pussy's like you are scared to take the field and play the game

quote:

or really just focusing on 2019
Not focus on 2019 yet, the coaching staff is only worried about 2018 and the fans looking out for 2019 need to transfer to A&M

quote:

hopefully a new coach to go along with it
We are fine with our coach until he is no longer our coach then we will find one for half of what A&M is paying and still beat them

All I know is every BR media outlet. OTB.. AFR.. Etc.. who have visited camp was shocked at how revamped the roster looks. Basically we stacked everywhere except maybe RB. And Nick Brosette weighed n at 220 n best shape of his life. Also the zone running scheme fits him more. Clyde Edwards-Helaire is legit so I believe Rb is gonna be fine. At LSU there’s always a Rb that emerges. Miles left LSU with major roster holes and O if he’s done anything at all it’s rebuilt this LSU roster. LSU will far exceed the expectations.
