When Muschamp told Dabo his wife was flirting with him and walked off chuckling to himself.

Arkansas tried to hire Bear Bryant twice. The first time Arkansas offered him the job, he accepted. As he drove away after accepting the job, he hears that the Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor. Bryant immediately joined the Navy, leaving the Arkansas Head Coaching position vacant. The second time Arkansas offered him the job, Bryant required the University make him the athletic director. The University refused. He went back to coaching at Kentucky.

He did this shite to us as well. Agreed to accept the job here "in principle" and backed out when we lost to the Citadel.

Best thing that could have happened to us in retrospect.

I loved those rumors.

Didn't Les turn down Michigan after flirting with them?

Saban rejected like 15 M a year from tu was nice. Those delusional assholes.

In 1995, Glen Mason was hired away from Kansas to Georgia and then backed out a week later on Christmas Day.

This isn’t even close in terms of the stage that it was on and the timing considering what was at stake : Les Miles to Michigan. It gave us an iconic moment, it wasn’t done behind the scenes. It was right there at a live press conference as only Les could do it. God I love me some Les.
