Both seem like try hard good ol boy douchebags to me. Kemp comes off as a far right win nut job while Cagle is dripping in slime. Good times will be had by all I’m sure

I agree that they are virtually the same.
Cagle is the career politician.
Kemp is a real estate developer (there is nothing slimier than a real estate developer in local politics).
I hated Deal prior to the election. But the corrupt politician did alright.
Right now, I'm leaning Cagle. But as I said, they are the same.

It’s truly astonishing how reliably you can set your watch to the GSB’s obliviousness to the changing political tides.
Just the fact that the crony establishment candidate with all the special interest money behind him is even in a runoff is a major victory for anyone of any political persuasion with a soul. And if he eventually wins it will have to be by skin of his crooked teeth.(Alrhough if the polls are to be believed, Kemp wins this thing)
Exciting times. Go Kemp!

Doesn’t matter. Neither one will be governor anyway. I can’t believe these two numbnuts are the best we could come up with. Cagle is as dirty as they come. Looks like Georgia will end up being a sanctuary state in the near future.

Trump comes off more as the Teddy Roosevelt type.
And yes... Trump is sleazy as evidenced by his multiple bankruptcies, multiple lawsuits, and multiple allegations that he breaks contracts at a whim. But real estate deals with property. And property relates to local politics.
If you are implying that anyone else can say and do what Trump does and get away with it, then I have a bridge that I can sell to you.

I love this attitude for a lot of things. For politics on the other hand, it’s not a reason to vote for someone.

Last one I saw, Kemp was up by 3 points with 8% undecided. My gut tells me it’s a wider margin than that though..
Am I the only one getting round the clock attack ads on Kemp by Cagle on local stations? Looks like desperation time in crony ville. Ha ha ha

You can be a preacher or a doctor or a teacher or any perceived noble profession under the sun and still be a sleaze ball piece of shite. That's fair.
I grew up in stone mountain, schooled in athens, and moved to gwinnett county. All of this during the great "Georgia migration". Local politics was abused by real estate developers buying land, faking appraisals, and selling the land back to the counties for 250% profit a week after the original sale. All on the taxpayer dime. It didn't matter which county (my degree is in Real Estate).
Congrats. You are correct. Mankind sucks. But I will continue to harbor disdain for any real estate developer who wants to serve in local politics for the public interest.
