Favorite SEC Roadtrip

A group of us are making the trip to Oxford this year for the South Carolina-Ole Miss game. It got me thinking about the other SEC roadtrips I've taken and how I would rate them. I've done Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and Texas A&M so far.
1. LSU (2012): Definitely the most fun I've had on a road trip. Staying in New Orleans Thursday/Friday nights and driving down early Saturday morning for the game that evening was awesome. Fans were great. A lot of alcohol and smack talk, but that's what college football is all about. They're a fun bunch.
2. Auburn (2010): Seeing Cam Newton destroy us in person wasn't that fun, but the fans here are crazy. Loud and passionate during the game, but by far the nicest and most gracious before and after the game.
3. Georgia (2007/2009/2011/2013): Athens is the absolute best college town, hands down. I've seen a couple wins and a couple losses on these trips, but have always had a good time. Only had 1 or 2 bad interactions with fans, but nothing like some of the stuff you read online.
4. Texas A&M (2017): I was blown away by how nice their stadium was. The money they spent on the renovations was well spent. Their fans were friendly and the student section was massive.
5. Alabama (2009): This isn't really fair to Alabama because of the nature of the trip. We got tickets last minute from someone and ended up driving back directly after the game, which was an 8:00 game. Mark Ingram's coming out party for the Heisman that year too. The stadium was unbelievable as was the history around the program. The fans didn't really interact with us too much though, so I can't really speak to how they were.
6. Tennessee (2001/2007/2009/2013): We've been on this trip a lot typically because we tie it into a mountain weekend. 0-4 on these trips makes it bad too. However I was shocked that the stadium was in such bad shape and the VOL Navy wasn't as cool as I thought it would be.
7. Kentucky (2016): The 3rd loss in a row to Kentucky will sour any trip. Stadium was half empty and the atmosphere was pretty lame. I've heard the trip is much better if you can make it up there in October and catch a race at Keeneland.
What are everyone else's thoughts about the trips they've taken within the SEC?

Mizzou ... don't waste your time.
Cons: Fans are pasty white and chubby. Girls have little tits and big ankles. All everyone wants to talk about are the Cards or KC.
Pros: Plenty of cheap, empty seats to choose from. Usually an easy win. Catch Branson shows on the way home.

The places I’ve been to:
1. Alabama - excellent and convenient setup for tailgating/bars/lodging. Fans were excellent though more subdued than Auburn and LSU, and the stadium was extremely nice.
2. Auburn - small and quiet town with a limited bar scene compared to what I’m used to, but the fans and stadium experience were awesome.
3. LSU - the fans get a bad rap but really aren’t that bad. Mostly friendly shite talking and didn’t experience anything crazy or over the top like you hear about or like I’ve seen from Tech or OU fans. Biggest complaint is how ghetto BR is and how spread out the bar scene is (though I went before Uber which is a game changer for this)
4. Ole Miss - Fun experience but Oxford is so small and the drinking laws are absurd. I felt like I was back in high school having to hide my booze. Stadium is small and fans were pretty subdued. The Grove is cool but don’t think it’s so different from any other big tailgating scene.
5. Vandy - Nashville is the shite but everything I liked about this trip I could have experienced without a football game. It’s a good excuse to go to Nashville but the actual game day experience is nonexistent

LSU fans get a bad rap because they have some of the absolute worst fans in the country (excluding OM and UF)... BUT they also have some great fans that go out of their way to make up for the ones that suck.

1. LSU- more hospitable than most would have you believe
2. SCAR- rocking stadium and more Busch beer drinkers than I've seen anywhere else.
3. Ole Miss- the Grove is overrated but always a fun trip
4. Kentucky- Lexington is a very underrated college town
5. Alabama- more stuff to do than just the game, but generally a tame crowd for the actual game

I've only been to A&M and Tennessee. No complaints. Fans were very friendly in College Station and gave us a bunch of food and drinks for free.

1) UGA (2013) - As mentioned before, by far the best college town I have been to. Great game and UGA fans were great, maybe thats just because they won though

2) Auburn (2012,2014) - Both games were awful really, but I always have a great time there. Good tailgating scene and by far the loudest stadium I have been to away from LSU.
3) Texas A&M (2014) - Had alot of fun the night before, and the aggies are like abnormally nice. Tailgating was okay. I am looking forward to going to this game on a Saturday night. The Thanksgiving day thing just kills the stadium atmosphere.
4) Mississippi St (2015) - Surprisingly a fun tailgating and stadium atmosphere. The fans are way louder than I expected for the size. There is just nothing to do in Starkville. Helps to win money at the Casino in Philadelphia, MS the night before.
5) Ole Miss (2015) - Tailgating was okay. You have to know people, and even then the set up is weird. They have like bartenders for your tailgates. Stadium was miniature, and fans were okay.
6) Tennessee (2011,2017) - Pretty bad road trip for the tailgating and football, but we had fun doing everything else. Went to Asheville, NC after the game for a few days.
7) Alabama (2015) - I'll preface by saying I picked a bad year to go here. It rained most of the night before and the day of the game so that kinda ruined tailgating and going out. The stadium atmosphere was so fake, and I sat so far away from the field I couldn't see anything happening.

1) Athens: Awesome place. my favorite college city for any conf. Great people, great bars. Reminded me of a larger como.
2) LSU: Did what the op said. First time in NO and it was a blast.
3) Lexington: A Terribly, boring city, luckily that race track place was open. Only reason I dont have them at #4
4) Florida: Hot, felt like I was in the worlds biggest trailer park. Fans were so-so. mainly all drunk, which is better than sober..
