For me, I can't wrap my head around how Florida has beaten Kentucky 31 times consecutively. That is insane.

Also that Georgia hasn't won a national title since 1980

History dictates that Auburn is on pace to win their next national title in the year 2063.

Wow.

Florida State went to 11 College World Series in 15 seasons from 1986-2000.

Florida State had 12 1st round picks from 1986-2000 and 21 1st-5th round picks over that period.

They only made it to the Championship game 2 times in that period.

They won 0 national titles.

- The 1995 team had the following players who played in the Major Leagues : JD Drew, Doug Mientkiewicz, Mickey Lopez, Jonathan Johnson and Randy Choate. They had 10 players drafted in June 1995. They were the #2 overall seed and went 52-14. They went 1-2 in Omaha.

- The 1999 team went 52-12 and 22-2 in the ACC. They lost to Miami in the finals 6-5.

Winning a national title is hard. Bama current run on titles and appearances in title is witnessing history. When the books are written Saban will no longer be compared to Bear..he will be in a class of his own.

Exactly what part of this is an opinion?

Eh. The past is the past. I like what we are doing right now. Let other, lesser teams worry about the past.

Are you saying that "the past is the past" is an opinion?

You must be an Auburn fan.

Bobby called the dogs off late in the 3rd. Fran called the dogs off getting off the bus. That team completely quit from the opening kickoff. Embarrassing.

How's this for a fact?

In the 13 game stretch that Georgia has dominated Auburn (10-3) The average score has been Georgia-30.3 Auburn-18.0.

I guess they'll just have to settle for actually winning a national title and having more SEC titles during that span.
