Our offense is going to likely be dog shite

But if Burrow comes through that will answer one major question. Who knows...it very well could become a special year, too.

How many SEC C's has Auburn won in the last 20 years? What about UGA?

Surely you aren't going to drop out of this thread after embarrassing yourself, are you? Or are you just that proud to have tied Georgia in the category you picked?

I know. But 2017 was the first complete team that Gus has fielded. The lack of depth showed at the end of of last season though.
2013 & 2014 had amazing offenses, but the defenses were shite. 2015 wasn't great on either side. The offense held us back in 2016 with the carousel at QB.

I was actually thinking about that the other day. I mean, you always have a high powered offense and a hard nosed tough defense. Why does Auburn have trouble?

Of course, I have a theory.

I just think it is a matter of depth. Any injuries really weigh on the team. If Malzahn can get the much needed depth, you guys are going to be a handfull for everybody all the time. You may not agree with my assessment, and that is okay. You are a fan and have a much better grasp of the situation than I do.

See? When I think of Auburn, I think defense first. Particularly hard hitting LB's. Now, it seems to be migrating down to the DLine, but I always think of great defenses. I guess it comes from the 80's and 90's teams.

Scoring in the 20s today in CFB is not a blip on the radar.

It is against a Top 10 Defense.

Muschamp brought that attitude back and brought those kind of players into the program and I think Steele has run with it. The problem never was with playing opposite the offense, we just had the wrong coaches and players in the system for the better part of a decade.

The problem with AU over the years since TT, was they could not find hard hitting LBs. Ellis Johnson cost AU two chances of winning the NC. Steele is trying to return to those days.

Well, Steele seems to have you headed in the right direction. I was wondering how he would do, because the lSU fans were so sure he was awful. And if you can't succeed at LSU, with their defensive talent.....well....but your defense was top notch last year.

Crap. You guys sure slowed down in game 2.
Apparently only one player with speed? Kerryon? cause we all know the difference in game 1 and game 2 was Kerryon was injured.

No, KJ wasn't a threat after the 1st Qrt. UGA spread out more to take away the bubble screen and jet sweeps. Again, AUs OL was so poor, AU became one dimensional.

We saw what a passing QB can do to UGAs D. They had it done to them three times last year.

Your passing game really came alive in the SEC Championship Game. Good point!

He would have been able to gain tons of yardage if we decided to not be near him like his big gainers from game 1.

No injury caused your offensive line to get destroyed. Our staff had amazing halftime adjustments vs baker mayfield. I wish we had 4 q’s vs hurts

Yep, still retarded two months later.

Everything I posted was true. Kerryone had nowhere to go in game 2. Neither did your WRs.

Johnson was surrounded early and piled on a lot. But UGA figured he was effective not because of injury and took away AUs outside game. With the OL play, Stidham couldnt carry the team alone.
