LSU's gotta be in there with that front 7 we bring back.

The only thing that would keep us out is how slim we are at DB

Probably UGA, Auburn & LSU. 2 out of those 3. Maybe MSU as well.

Top 5 are Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, and Mississippi State in no particular order except Alabama is #1.

Don't know about top 3, but UF should be much improved and be really strong in 2019.

MSU has a lot of talent, not sure about their DC. Was a hot commodity, then went to Tennessee and was awful.

Will wait and see on LSU, should be good. Thought the same thing heading into 2017 and watched them look lost in several games. They also benefitted from playing UF and UT last year. You didn't have to gameplan for either.

Not until we find 3-4 decent defensive tackles, our depth and talent at DT and LB is terrible. Opposing teams should run every down on us, we have as good a pass rush and coverage as anyone, but we will be absolutely gutted up the middle, if Slaton and Clarke don’t stay healthy and play 60 snaps a game.

alabama, georgia, lsu, and auburn will be the top 4 statistically, imo.

State was 3rd in Total D last year and returns 8 starters- plus a freshman ALL-SEC player

I'm expecting Conliffe to play a big role this year. Really think he can be a factor. We need either the UNC transfer or Campbell to step up. Depth at LB will be interesting. Wonder if we'll see both Reese's on the field together at some point this year. Would be fun.

People want to make fun of Gus and his HS Offense, but AU scored the following against those opponents last year:
26, 40,23 and 49. I guess they will all upgrade this year.

Auburn is among college football’s best at defensive line, solid at linebacker, really good at corner but have question marks at safety.
