Would you still go to college? Would your major/ college choice change? If you wouldn’t go, what would you do instead?

It depends on how I acquired this money

Through very little work of your own. Let’s say you won the lottery or guessed right on cryptocurrency.

I would still go to college for a bunch of reasons:
1. Education is an end all its own.
2. You can acquire skills or qualifications to have something to fall back on in case the fortune disappears.
3. Colleges are the best concentration of 18-22 year old women with a decent insane to only slightly insane ratio.

What would you study? Knowing that I’m financially safe, i’d probably take my time and triple-major in subjects that interest me. Classics-math-econ. Maybe a language. I majored in Econ and german, so I guess I wouldn’t change a lot, i’d just take my time

So this isn't a hypothetical then?
I don't know what I'd major in in that situation. Were I able to do college over again I would have majored in something STEM rather than a liberal art like I did but if you're already financially stable the equation changes a bit.

I would probably still try to go although I'll be honest and say it would be harder to do with that money there. Major in something inside of Business to help me properly invest or even start a business with that money.
Multi-million is a wide range but if its on the lower end then it could go fast sitting on your arse and potentially supporting a family with it.

I'd like to say I would have, but remembering how I was at 18 I probably would not have.

I’d still go to college, because I’ve always wanted the college experience. The college I went to might change, because I wouldn’t have to worry about cost of tuition as much. I’d probably go to CU Boulder, where I got in, but the out of state tuition was wayyy to much for me to actually go there. I wouldn’t change majors, I’d stick to business, and CU’s leads business school is a big step up from Ole Miss’ business school. Instead of Business marketing tho, I’d go with Business Entrepreneurship, which CU offers as a major, but I don’t recall Ole Miss having that.

I am.
I did.
Economics.
Bang OT 10's in Europe.
Seriously-go to college, get a degree in finance and learn how to handle that money and make more money. Then bang OT 10's in Europe.

A guy I know from high school got into hosting and creation of online porn sites in the 90s By graduation his parents lived with him in his 750k home, he had ducatis, 37' scarab, a Vector(car) an S600, plus other shite. He skipped college and still lives the life
Some people on here might have seen his shite, he took his murcielago and made it into a rally car. He was featured in some magazines and on jalponik(sp?)

If I was a multi-millionaire at 18 I would probably have been dead by 21 so no point in wasting time in class

Definitely go to school. Get a Law Degree to protect yourself from people trying to take your millions.

Pretty good chance I'd have assumed room temp a long time ago if I were a millionaire at 18.

I’m getting a law degree now. If I was a multi millionaire, I absolutely would not be doing this.

I feel the same about my lesser degree that I'm working on
