I know we have a lot of big boppers so th questions is will we be able to drive it out the yard.

I don’t think we’ll hit many HR’s. TD Ameritrade is definitely more of a pitcher’s ball park. It is a little smaller than the park in Hoover, but the winds at TD Ameritrade blow in from the outfield, knocking down potential homers.

Agreed. It will fit back in some homers, but that will also help our pitching staff. We have given up some bombs lately.
As long as our guys keep getting on base like we normally do then we can wear an opposing staff down pitching under pressure. If we go cold then it may be a fast trip.

I think pitching is more important at this stage, and we have good pitching. It's a really complete team. Anything short of the finals will be considered a disappointment.

Pitching and defense for sure. Fletcher is gonna be a big factor in CF and hopefully Martin keeps it up at 3rd.

We saw in our series against SCar that we're deeper than most good college teams in terms of arms. Sure our guys can have a bad outing every now and then, but we have the luxury of having multiple people in the bullpen that we know can come in and at least throw quality strikes for 2-3 innings. As long as our starters continue to be able to go at least 5-6 innings, we're set up fine for Omaha.

As long as we don't revert back to leaving 10 + men on base, we'll be fine.
I think you'll see DVH get aggressive af, He's ready to bring a Natty back home

If good Murphy and good Campbell show up, we will win it. Simple as that.
Don't expect Knight to have the same HR issues he's had. The park is massive.
Need Kjerstad to step it up in LF though, he's been a serious liability lately.

I have a feeling kjerstad will be either 1st base or dh next year unless he makes some serious improvements in the off season

He's got the range, concentration and technique are an issue at the moment.

Not nearly that simple

Not sure how long he's been playing OF but he's got the tools be a good OF. Most of his errors are on basic fly balls, something that seem pretty easily corrected with practice.
Maybe he'll move to RF not have to battle the sun

Guys, Kjerstad is learning and growing into his body.
Sure he’s awkward at times in the field (I’m not a fan of him sliding to make catches) but he’s also battled the sun and high sky with these non typical start times.
Y’all have to remember he was a 5’10, 155 projected leadoff hitter when he committed and showed up on campus 6’3.

Fletcher

He is sooooooo enticed by the first pitch and every high fastball doesn’t matter if over his head.

Would love to see him bunt down the third base line or put in some hit and run situations where he needs to go the opposite way.

Absolutely, Fletcher needs to show some patience at the plate . His fielding skills are incredible though.
