After the visit, rumors of him going to visit Alabama started to swirl. We also hosted other "committed" recruits from FSU over the last few weeks on unofficials.

I personally think he stays at FSU, I think his brother is on the team there but I also know that it's not good when you have commits chatting up other schools.

Our players have seemed pretty solid outside of maybe Umstead (who has since confirmed that he will be at Florida 100%) who visited Alabama. Hopefully Dent continues to 'wonder'.

He literally visited with the staff, and has said in the past that he will. Won't be the last time he's in Gainesville.

And he retweeted it.

Lucas in Miami for the second weekend in a row, too.

June is for relationship building, not counting commits -- and I like that Dent retweeted the fact that he met with Florida coaches. I've been really mopping you and TJ up in this conversation, too.

Several of your top recruits that are committed are openly taking visits to your rivals.
Xavier Peters is going to need all the help he can get just to qualify in August (if he's lucky).
Jaleel McRae tore both ACLs.
Goolsby runs a slower than 5 second 40 yard dash as a WR.
Goofy had to cancel an event that he copied from UF because no one was going to it.


These are not good recruiting practices, and will take their toll later down the line (it is June, after all). I feel good about the legwork Mullen has put in and how recruits continue to get back on campus to see us.

Maybe you should specify big bowl games. Because your context made it seem like 6-6 and winning a bowl game is your expectation of the program, hence my comment. And just wait. Florida state will consistently have better classes than UF. Because like I said, they have better recruiters. It’s pretty simple.

Umstead coming to UF means jackshit for getting trey. In fact it's going to be hilarious If trey goes to Bama. Dent coming up with his 7on7 team doesn't mean a damn thing either since they're touring multiple camps. If he came up on his own sure but that isn't why hes here

Because idiots like straws thinks it's a done deal and have been saying so for months when the rest of us know 5* kids blow smoke up every programs arse. Its not my problem if we miss on the talent we're chasing. I'm used to UF being played by recruits at this point. If that happens Mullen should be criticized for bringing in a nobody because he's his friend over our best recruiter in seider. Hell do we even have a legitimate backup plan for Sanders?

I'm not giddy. It sucka we're staring at 7-5 to 9-3 seasons the next 5 years and what is there positive to talk about right now? The kids that camp and commit elsewhere shortly after leaving? That we're #27 in the country behind Michigan St, NC state and northwestern?
