This could be a problem - 38 yds per punt.

Scott was a weapon for us his entire career. Looks like we are gonna miss hi a bunch.

That is what Scott did to us. Average punting now looks terrible to us.

Yeah Scott was well above average now we are normal again. I’d love to find a boomer though.

Alabama has had three starting punters over a 12 year period. We are spoiled.
And then Scott completely warped the idea of what a punter should be.

I think the Skyler kid will be fine. He is awful small, but he is a true freshman. He is also an early enrollee, he may not even be 18 years old. He just endured his first ever 4rth qtr program. After Cochran has him for another year, we will see some great strides. I've seen him listed at 6'3" and 6'4" but both articles listed him at 180 lbs. That is some kind of wormy.
I agree he is not JK Scott, but I bet he will be better than average for us.

He had 10 punts and 6 of them were in the 20. FWIW.
Who knows what his avg will be. I'm not worried.

Maybe we are finding things to talk about. This was pretty much the last bit of real football to talk about until summer unless you are a recruiting junkie so I am fine with any and all discussion. I love the recruiting junkies FWIW. You guys do the leg work for those who are fortunate enough to reap the benefits of your labor.

No problem.Bama's not going to punt.Non-stop offense featuring Tua,Smith,Juedy,Rawlins,Damien,Naggee, and Waddle.
jk.Haven't given it much thought, but J.K. Scott may be the player we miss the most.
He consistently flipped the field.

6 of his 10 punts were inside the 20. That's going to bring your average down. I imagine his average on punts that he wasn't trying to pin the opponent on was several yards better than 38.

yep, and he did a good job of stopping some of the punts--keeping them out of the end zone.

did Ruggs break his leg!?????

While it has been pointed out the number of punts he put inside the 20, the one he kicked early that hit at about the 5 and spun back was beautiful.
I think we'll be just fine

Not to mention that the backup kicked one under 30 yds that brought the average down.

Scott was and is a class act. Our new punter has big shoes to fill. - pun intended.

I put "Rallins" by mistake.
Henry Ruggs will be an important part of Bama's "No Punt" Offense.
