And I thought A&M’s new one was nice.

I guess everyone else will have to fight for 3rd place.

Seriously though, this is an insightful thread. We've had John McDonnell Field in its current state for 12 years. It still outclasses every other outdoor college track stadium other than Oregon's new digs.
I guess I never thought much about how nice of a facility it is. It makes sense that we have the best T&F facilities in the country given our history in the sport.

Looks nice. Oregon and A&M both state of the art facilities

Not going to lie, A&Ms rendering of their new stadium looks like our old shitty arse stadium
Oregons is fire though

Because we built on to a reasonable size. Your stadium holds 7k. You’ve never once had more than 6k there. You’ve had over 5k 3x ever.

I'm wondering why they built such a big place. Will it sell out for home track events, or is this just to host big events?
"Why yes Bob, I can't think of something more than I want to do than go all the way to Oregon to watch t&f..."

For normal events it looks like they get around 2-3k

Little brother spends a frick ton of money on useless shite and yet have no championships.
In before we have 16 championships since joining the SEC in men’s dick sucking contest and women’s count flustering

We have 9 national championships in the last decade in the sport were spending “a frick ton” of money. Thanks again for Pat Henry.

This Aggie/LSU thing has gotten downright adorable.

This is how little fricks Bertman and LSU boosters gave about track. They let a 15+ time national champion leave over a little money and not wanting to throw him a welcome parade
I am not saying that is a good thing, I am just saying its a thing
