Damn. So I guess yall beat us last year with that shite head coach we hired then?

No, we had to make sure that dumbass kept his job.

When we lose this year and secure an extension for Coach O our work will be done.

Be ready to lose in 2020.

No wait, not 2020. We have to lose that year because so Joe can get an extension too. I meant 2021.

I'm trying to figure out what all those pits are? I see 2 HJ pits but it looks like 4 PV pits too? And what are the lanes in the middle? No grass or anything though?

[quote]Seriously though, this is an insightful thread. We've had John McDonnell Field in its current state for 12 years. It still outclasses every other outdoor college track stadium other than Oregon's new digs.

I guess I never thought much about how nice of a facility it is. It makes sense that we have the best T&F facilities in the country given our history in the sport.[/quote

A little bit of investment in sports like track & field can lead to big rewards. SEC schools are suddenly becoming quite a bit more competitive across the board in athletics because the flow of cash means that secondary, and even tertiary, sports are starting to get a bit of the green.

I will grant you, we aren't at the level of Stanford with their "we play in every sport out there, including a few which don't actually exist". But we are starting to get close.
