Some in here are making fun about people upset over the State women losing the title game. "It's just women's basketball-don't matter much". First, these girls are student athletes, they bust their tails at practice, go through a long season, have to somehow keep up with their studies and all else that goes with being a college player. We should not diminish their effort or write their sports off....their accomplishments mean every bit as much to them and the fans as do the men.

Are these the same MSU fans who, for the past year, chided SC fans about having beaten UConn last year ... so SC could win a National Championship by beating a spent MSU squad for the 12th time in a row?
FWIW I love the big center ... Vivian? Love your coach, love the fight in your team. But this is your fans' and yours fault. It's just a curse ... a karma kickback if you will. I was personally pulling hard for MSU today, as was every SC and SEC fan I know - but we could not overcome the karmic curse your own fans and you placed on your squad.
Did y'all burn a witch back in the day or something? Piss off a voodoo princess perhaps? Make a pact with lucifer?
This was probably your last chance for awhile. You graduate 4 seniors correct?

Meh. They won a bunch of games. Played two championship games and choked both of them away. Save the moral victories for times when we have inferior talent. We had the best talent in the country. Played a team last night with no point guard. One of our strengths is on the ball pressure. Almost made her cry in the first half. Played like absolute garbage in the second half. Nobody wanted to step up and win the game for us. Choked worse than Dan Mullen going up against a defense with a pulse. I’m ready for some spring football.
