Just had a chance to watch. A couple of thought that I had.

Give me Pettway, Woods and Cornelius as our starting WRs. So much average outside of them right now.

I know understand why Gragg doesn’t play more. He was out of place so often today. It’s like he doesn’t know the playbook at all. I would not be surprised if he transferred because he is never playing regularly here.

Would have liked to see Daulton Hyatt get more reps just to see what he could do. This QB competition is definitely going to go in to the fall when Jones and Noland show up because both Cole and Ty are in the bottom half of SEC QB talent. The job is there for anyone half way decent to take.

Love seeing DBs finally press. It absolutely fricked up our WRs timing. Hopefully they can do that to other teams as well.

Our RB rotation is deep. Bielema left a good stable of backs there for Morris. I imagine we have to lean on them until we can turn over the WR depth chart with new recruits.

I really liked watching Maleek Williams run. Looked like everything we wanted Kody Walker to be.

Anybody else feel like whenever cole runs the read option and tucks it he looks like he's about to trip over his own feet every step he takes in the open field

Do you believe we could see a true freshman at qb?

I thought Hyatt looked pretty good honestly. he's clearly young and needs to keep going but he seemed comfortable running and throwing just not deep

I'm so tired of this. Find a qb who can throw the dang ball deep. I mean look at teams who throw the ball deep like Oklahoma Texas tech Texas Oklahoma state even bama and auburn. You don't have to have great weapons to throw deep most of the time you get a pi or a catch because college dbacks don't c9ver good that deep down the field

It was obviously just one practice but, after what I saw yesterday, I wouldn’t be opposed to them getting the opportunity. Both Storey and Kelley seem to have glaring weaknesses. People can bitch about the Allen’s all they want but we could have been a lot worse off at QB than them and I’m thinking we may see that next year.

Yes I feel the exact same way. The kid looks so uncoordinated when he tries to run on those. Not in a Matt Jones way either. More like an about to fall flat on his face kind of way.

he didn't get asked to throw deep much that I remember to be fair I snoozed through some I think. he's almost definitely not playing this year but is a good looking long term option at this point.

I admit I miss the way that Matt seemed to jog down the field in most half assed way humanly possible... and easily outrun the DBs. What I wouldn't give to have him in this offense.

The unknown surrounding the backup QB is always fan favorite unless great starter and even then back when a guy like Wilson was QB, you had people questioning that Brandon Mitchell didn’t get a fair shot.

I (and I know Chesh from twitter posts) wanted to see Storey in game action late last year when the season was over to see what he was about but we got injured Austin Allen once again.

That's usually a sure sign of a fair weather fan... It's fine when the season is a wash, but the people begging for Kelley two or three games in are an issue. It was obvious that Allen was our best QB, but nobody would have done well behind that line, with those receivers.

Were people calling for Allen to be benched before it was clear that he was injured? I honestly don’t remember.

I remember there being some but I think most of that was just fans who always hated the Allens

The ones that didn’t want another Allen playing QB.
