Our recruiting momentum seems to be slowing.
A number of programs around us produced commitments this past weekend. We produced nothing and personally, i'm not buying this notion we're asking recruits to "hold off".

Top 2019 commitment for each SEC team so far

As teams around the Southeast open up their preseason camp, this seems as good a time as any to take inventory on their 2019 recruiting players. Today, we're taking a look at the top class of 2019 commitment for each SEC school.
If the top commitment for each team is any indication, the reputation of the SEC as a stout defensive conference isn't going anywhere soon. Eight of the recruits on this list come frmo the defensive side of the ball with four offensive linemen behind that. Just two offensive skill players make the list as of today. That could change as the Early Signing Period and National Signing day get closer. Let's take a look at the most prized commitment for each SEC team in the 2019 class.

Orgeron was asked in the post-game press conference after he basically threw his own players under the bus by saying they need to recruit better players across the board, if it hurt to see Irv Smith, a New Orleans kid, burn them on the field...

Has anyone in Tuscaloosa area seen this kid kick.
Sam Contorno, PK (also punter and QB) at Holy Spirit Catholic School in Tuscaloosa
My uncle works there and is always talking about him. He said he is regularly hitting 60+ in pregame. The end of his tape shows a few from the snap.
He has a strong leg. Was Honorable Mention AllState punter last year. It looks like he also plays QB... I saw a highlight where he threw for 6 TDs and ran for another earlier this year. Also, plays baseball, throws 80+, and was all state in BB too.
I was just wondering as I've never heard of him. I'm not sure if he has camped much. My uncle said he missed 3-4 games this year with a shoulder injury, but has been an incredible all around athlete and kicker for them. Maybe he'll stay home and walk on at UA. Seems like a decent insurance policy for Reichard.
Need to clean house on a few of the specialists as it is.

Buddy of mine just showed me the pic of Bowles and his dad in Bama unis with Saban ala UF’s gimmick. His father was in full pads. I guess this is a thing now
