LMAO why do we have to miss on Bryant? Tate is YEARS ahead of him as a passer and rusher

Agreed. More of Gus not being able to scout talent.

I’m not sure that’s known yet. He’s a true junior but he was an early enrollee

Honest question. If Im a grad transfer I want to go to another program to get a fresh look from the scouts on another team.

Why would I come to Auburn with their simple pass game, and an atrocious line.

Seriously, some called Stidham a high round draft pick before the season, his value was ruined this season.

The only upside might be a detergent sponsorship judging from the grass stains on the back of our QBs jersies.

Sounds like a serious question

Exposure. NFL teams draft on potential. Stidham fell because he can't make simple passes to open WR's. It is a baseline task for a QB at any level.

Yep, Stidham fell solely based on himself.

Not true, he's behind one of the worst Olines in the country and in a micky mouse offense.

I saw this stat yesterday:

"75 SEC players had more TD receptions than Auburn WR Ryan Davis in 2018. Only 3 had more receptions"

Let that sink in. Our offense would make any qb look pedestrian

You are crazy if you think OL was the sole reason he sucks. He has zero pocket awareness. The second he feels pressure, he shits his pants.

When you have no checkdown options, you have no choice. It is get sacked or run

Nick and Cam did the same thing, they just ran better

The line played much better as the season went on. There were ample opportunities in the iron bowl for stidham to step up into the pocket but he bailed leading to a sack, throw away, or poor passing decisions.

He missed wide open throws all season. His pocket presence was awful going back to last year, regardless of the protection he had. He will be horrible if he makes it to the NFL.

Can he throw the ball out of bounds?

Per KN: GM has been telling recruits he expects to land Kelly Bryant.

Now we just need some offensive lineman

We need to just recruit 6-7 OL that are strong and aggressive. Who cares if they are 6'6 with long arms, we don't pass anyways
