I don't know how the batting order will be, but I hope we have someone to protect Chandler Taylor. Sweet powerful stroke!!!!

Where is A+ baseball poster Tom Haverford? He knew his stuff about Bama baseball.

Starting rotation for this weekend announced (sort of):
Fri: Sam Finnerty
Sat: Jake Walters
Sun: TBA
*Interesting that Finnerty is the guy getting the Friday nod. Not what I expected.
*I consider it a bad sign that we are in TBA mode for Sunday on the opening weekend.

Sunday is Johnny Wholestaff day. We're going the Cohen route. CHAMPIONSHIP

I'm pretty surprised at Finnerty getting the nod. Surprised Duarte isn't in there too. Was he not our Friday starter last year?
Jake is a pretty good Saturday option. Maybe Bohannon thinks we can steal some wins by having our best guy on Saturday or maybe Finnerty has made a big leap.

Unless you know something I don't, I wouldn't thin that Prater is quite ready for SEC pitching yet.

I'm sure he'll take a few lumps, but the guy has an explosive bat. I'd prefer to take the lumps with him this year and reap the benefits down the road than to throw our eggs into the JUCO transfer basket at that position. JMO.

Think Coach Bohannon will do very well here

If he can hit in scrimmages or is better than the alternative then, yes, play Praytor. I would have to imagine that he guy who mashed a bunch homers at the Juco level would be a bit better prepared to hit higher level pitching. However, my experience with Praytor is limited to four games. He may be much better than I understand.
My view is that the guy is a bit small. Granted he's a fireplug. He has girth, but he's not real tall. The home runs I saw from him would not have left a college park. College fields are significantly larger than high school fields.
However, I never saw him play any summer league ball. Never saw him face elite pitching, so my analysis is pretty limited.

My experience with Praytor is limited to nothing, so I honestly have no idea if he starts.

how does one watch on stream services without having to sign up and enroll or pay a fee.

If you have a cable subscription that includes SECN, you can just go to WatchESPN. Without that, you could just try searching on Google, but I don't think college baseball is popular enough for people to bother illegally streaming it.

Please work out Bohannon. We need to host regionals here.
