The other thread about best guitarists got me thinking about this. Two of my five favorites are Prince tunes.

Africa: This dude shows that in the right hands an acoustic guitar is superior to an electric guitar, LINK

Anybody else wanna toss out their favorite acoustic covers? I always like seeing what people out there can come up with when it comes to covering tunes unplugged. It's inspirational

It’s already in acoustic, but “Hey Soul Sister” by Train is one of my favorite songs, and definitely my favorite after 2000.

Johnny Cash's acoustic cover of U2's "One" is awesome, too.

Iron & Wine's cover of "Such Great Heights"
It's like the song was written specifically for his voice and style. Light years better than the original.

Nirvana - Where did you Sleep Last Night?
I'll add more if I think of them. That Nirvana unplugged in New York was the only unplugged album I liked that came out during that craze.
