Didn’t we get our arse saved yesterday from being swept by a transfer?
re: Jay was 27-0 with a late lead, and all of a sudden y’all think he can’t coach?

He seems to step in a bit too often at times when the momentum of a baseball game would tell you not too.

For a guy who comes off the bench cold and strikes out in 4 pitches.

re: Why was Kyler Murray a 1st round pick in the MLB?
Posted by crotiger0307 on 5/1/25 at 9:55 am
I get that, and it’s very impressive that he had a relatively good season without any fall ball or offseason prep. But .296 isn’t even all-conference caliber, much less a first round pick for a position player.
Why was Kyler Murray a 1st round pick in the MLB?

Of all the 2 sport athletes who were elite enough to become a professional in multiple (including minor league ball as pro in this context), Kyler Murray being a 1st round pick in baseball makes zero sense.
His career college baseball stats (2 seasons, didn’t play his freshman year or senior year in HS)
GP: 78
Avg: .260
H: 64
HR: 10
RBI: 53
R: 53
K: 50
Now I respect the fact that he was an elite QB and also played in his second collegiate sport, but the fact that he went #9 overall as opposed to a late round recognition pick is baffling to me.
Side note, he isn’t the only player to be selected in the 1st round of multiple professional sports leagues (did not know this).
Scott Burrell was a first round pick in ‘89 (MLB) and ‘93 (NBA).

Brother. He has 17 hits to 20 strikeouts in 14 conference games, maybe shuffling him into a different spot allows him to see better pitches?

Where are you getting the idea that I’ve given up on the season by commenting on the way we hit in one game? You argue like a woman

I agree, which is why you will most likely see a mixup in the order tomorrow.
Biggest variable is Jones in the 2 spot.
I get the idea of getting your best hitters more AB’s, but his approach just hasn’t fit the role IMO (not that it means much if anything)

Bitch, do you not understand what “ghosts of” means? This team is way better put together than at this point last year, that’s not the point of the post.
The comment is relative to one fricking game. Thanks for the reminder though, Skip.

No team has ever been awarded for peaking in mid April.
Anderson will be better from this, lots of background noise facing a former teammate and having to deal with an inconsistent ump which won’t be a factor in 90% of the games you play.
They got punched in the mouth and will learn more than they would on a 9 game win streak.
Series still there for the taking!
Geaux Tigers!

I don’t get this sentiment.. yes these kids play for a prestigious program like LSU, but are they above the common folk to the point where they can’t piss in a porta-potty?
These kids all played travel and high school baseball within the last 5 years.. this isn’t something that will be so foreign that it will take them out of the game mentally. What’s the worst that can happen? Some fan bug them for a picture or autograph?
Maybe it’s me but I didn’t see this as anything at all to bitch about, just made for a hilarious picture.

Have tickets to see Chris Stapleton this summer and didn’t realize until purchasing them that Marcus King is opening.
I’d heard “Delilah” before and was impressed but never did a deep dive until now and holy shite..
I’ve seen Stapleton live before and he puts on an awesome show (this was also before his last 2 albums which are both incredible IMO) but I’m starting to think I might be more excited to see MK..
Marcus King - "Cant You See" (Marshall Tucker Band)

I expect us to go undefeated from here on out, in which case I won’t complain..
But yes keyboard warrior, there’s a lot I won’t complain about.
Check my posts, I tend not to bitch/overreact.. more analysis that is thought out before running to a message board.
