It was inevitable

He's been hanging in there like the Cat on the tree limb. He's nearly been fired on 2 other occasions, so you knew it was coming.

His recruiting has slipped a little, and his teams have been plagued with horrible defense and short on pitchers. Better make a big move for next coach. Conference is 2 good for a Odom type hire

Not a great time to be interviewing coaches. Anyone up on potential candidates?

Earlywine had a good run at Mizzou. I pay way more attention to women's softball these days.

Something happened that prompted Sterk to say...that's enough, I'm done. Timing is a dead giveaway.

I have no inside info, just speculating.

This^^

He's been on an ever-tightening leash for a couple years. Besides any misdeeds he may have done, being uber-arrogant didn't help his cause with admin.

Yes. He seems to have one of those personalities that gets offended if anyone ever questions anything he does, even if the person is one of his bosses.

Strange timing to dismiss him right before the season. I wonder what happened that we don’t know about.

My first thoughts were he was getting sex or he offended a girl by making her cry.

He was given the opportunity to change and did not.

The people defending him are lost.

He had a big and really good class coming in. Softball will now become more irrelevant than it was

I would be curious to hear what he did. I have absolutely no info. It was always just my impression it was spoiled kids whining because a coach was demanding. More to it than the pussification of our youth? I truly don’t know

I’ve heard secondhand info only. Seemed very difficult to deal with.

Ehren's response to getting canned. It is laughable that he brings up two coaches with 17 combined NCs as a justification for being a sawed off twat.
