Alma mater, no matter who. Doesn't matter. That typically eliminates most fans of your two schools you mentioned from that though.

Vandy
You're too intelligent to worry about the quarrels of lesser barbarians with their simpleton shootysports
The real gridiron sport is chess

If you like being bipolar then LSU. If not...any other school

Well my son will be going to vandy in the fall so I guess we will start pulling for them as well.

What if you only like being bipolar half the time?

Alabama looks like a bore. Nothing happens there except during football season and most every game is predictable until the postseason. Winning is fun but when you pretty much are to the point that playing in the SECCG means nothing to you, that's a numbness I'm not all that willing to feel.
Florida would be fun because they tend to at least be competetive if not great at everything. Problem is you have to drive to Gainesville Florida to watch anything live. It's not the worst but far from the best.
LSU is good at football, great at baseball, unpredictable in basketball. Death Valley and Alex Box are fun but not much going for it otherwise.
UGA has fallen on hard times in baseball, is an annual NIT bid waiting to happen in hoops, is becoming great in football, and... is good at tennis and swimming? But, hey, very few places in the country hold a candle to Athens so at least we can drown our sorrows in style the other 21 hours of a gameday.
I wish Arkansas was better overall. Fayettville looks nice and their facilities are solid and improving. They're just so geographically removed from the rest of the conference (though not nearly as bad as Mizzou)
A&M and Auburn have a little bro complex I never want to experience.
South Carolina isn't in a bad place right now with a competitive big 3 and some nice facilities. If Columbia were a halfway decent city like Nashville or Charleston, it'd be a pretty solid option. But alas...
Pass on Mizzou, Kentucky, OM, MSU, UTk, and Vandy
