Now if he can just convince his buddy Clay Webb to join him instead of following Pierce Quick...

Congrats guys. Just because it was expected doesn't make it any less valuable.

With Gatewood and now Nix, it looks like ole Gus may finally be setting up to develop a non transfer QB. Both of those guys look to be exciting talents.

He can run, but he's not the kind of QB that you are going to design a lot of read-option plays around like Nick Marshall - do you still want him?

The easiest comparison for him is probably Baker Mayfield. You aren't going to see the Nick Marshall offense, but he is a good bit faster than Stidham.

Here is his junior season highlights. The fourth or fifth play should make you happy.
