They'll most often double Payne...I hope they don't.

well you're the exception. You must've played interior line in HS b/c most people don't watch those matchups much unless they really understand and appreciate the nuances and techniques used to win those battles.

I'm looking forward to Bama RBs vs UGA LBs and vice versa.

I'd like to introduce you to our new starter for the Kentucky game.

19 years old. Benches 225 over 50 times. Big Country Ben Cleveland.
He is one to look out for in the run game.

LOS is where all games are won and lost. That is the one thing that has me looking at this matchup. It is also the one area where UGA underachieved during Richts tenure, particularly in 2012. Kirby understands this and has made the LOS a priority.

I have seen a bit of his film since he cracked the starting lineup after the Auburn debacle and can't help but think where the hell has this Goliath been all year? Locked away in a dungeon because he is too dangerous to society? Dude has been skull dragging everyone across from him since then.

Bama's secondary vs the coddled Jake Fromm.

He just turned 19 as a redshirt freshman. He was also very raw out of high school. If I had to guess, hand placement, bend, and pass protection have not been easy for him since he got here.

That said, he scores better pass protection than Thomas at RT since Cleveland has been a starter. The future is very bright on the right side of the line.

Well then it'll be fun to watch. If he can block Payne one-on-one, he'll be the first O-lineman that has.

Bama is a different beast. But Auburn is not far behind you on the DL. And a big reason for the quick turnaround by UGA was the insertion of Cleveland. He is a road grader in the purest form. No moment has been to big for him. But I keep waiting for a blunder in pass pro which has not happened with his responsibilities).

I'd be shocked if he handles him one on one all game... I'm sure he can hold his own and will get some solid blocks in on Payne, but if he's left on an island with him all game, that seems like a bad recipe.

A lot of the designed plays will have Gaillard over there helping. But with Cleveland's strength, this has allowed Gaillard to double over by Baker more often or get up immediately to the 2nd level.

How are his feet?...can he pass block?...can he pull? The kid's obviously a monster of a human, and if his tangibles are good, he'll make a lot of $$$ playing football.

I'd like to see DaRon play some Tight End. If he doesn't catch he can collapse half the line and let a quick guard open the field.

I wish both teams were at their peak health wise. Saban has a year or two on Kirby in recruiting.

It may come down to which team can play hard for 60 minutes if everything else is equal.
