Notice that UGA and Bama are not the ones shite posting each other about the NC game? That is because UGA fans by and large have a healthy respect for Bama. A respect that does not exist for any other SEC team, especially the "backed up on a stump" Auburn and Florida programs. And Bama fans recognize our class and dignity and welcome the challenge to their throne by the only worthy adversary in their fiefdom. We are very similar fan bases and that means a lot as far as mutual respect goes. Both programs win and lose with dignity. It was the same way in 2012 SECCG.
Now to the point. Auburn and Florida fans , and to a lesser degree, LSU and Carolina Inbreds are very jealous that Bama seems to share a kindred fan spirit with UGA fans. As the week goes by, look at all of the posts started by fans of these 4 teams trying desperately to goad UGA and Bama into insulting one another. They start threads desperately trying to get something going that just doesn't exist.
Winners stay above the fray and don't shite post each other. Honored to be playing this game against such a fine program and fan base.

Have seen several already and have avoided them. Shite posters post shite.
Anyways, best of luck, UGA! I want #17 badly this season but if we don't I'll dick ride Georgia for at least a solid week!

Not that I don't love you other posters because no melt is as entertaining as a 7SU's melt, but there's a lot of truth to the OP's premise. We are better. It just means more.

And this is why I can never, ever pull for UG against anyone. For a team that hasn't won an SEC Championship in 10 yrs or a Natty in 37 years, they just have this "better than you attitude"
Roll Tide, I hope Bama beats UG back to another 37 years of irrelevance.
