Through the lens of confirmation bias most likely.
Granted, I'm sure as a Dawg fan I'm not immune from the same bias, but I assure you our defense is legit.
Eta, not my downvote either

Good grief. They won't make the playoffs that many times. Georgia is still Georgia. They will find a way to underwhelm.

The "maybe 3" is this year, yet I do not see it happening, unfortunately.
You are right about the 2 national titles over the next 4 years, you're just wrong about the years. Georgia wins the natty in 2017 and 2019.

think if they want to get one, they better do it this year. UF will be better starting next year, UT will be more than just a bye week in the near future
I think you are being overly optimistic about those 2 programs and overly pessimistic about uga at the same time.

I don't think people understand how much it takes to win even one championship. Great talent is a necessity, but there is a lot of luck involved.

I remember these kinds of overreactions when Gus Malzahn had an incredible first year.

That was a flukey season, and he followed that year up with a decent recruiting class. Its just not the same thing.

Exactly. A LOT of luck. Alabama has everybody undervaluing the effort it takes to win a Title. They make it look so easy people have begun to think it is easy. It takes talent, coaching and luck. I really think we are getting the talent and now have the coaching, but we will have to see if we have the luck that is required.

I understand what you are saying, and I think it would be best if everybody (Including Georgia fans) wait and see. But in fairness, we are recruiting much better than Auburn has. You guys have always finished in the top 10, and when things fall right you can win a title, but our last 3 classes have been #5, #3 and we are at #1 right now this year. There is a big difference between #1 and # 7 or 8.

OU has a garbage defense and garbage trench talent. Over-rated to the extreme like everything else in that conference

I think TOP is the most overvalued and nonpredictive stat in football. It's about as useful in predicting the score as the pollen count is.

UF has the most potential of any program in the SEC, they just keep fricking up with Coaches. I think they got it right this time. UT can not get any worse and JP has the potential to upgrade that program. UGA had three games against better than average teams, they were essentially 1-1 (a blowout loss) until the rematch with AU. The point I am making is that the wear and tear of a better East will show its effects over time. It has prevented UA from winning Two additional NCs and almost cost them two others (2011, 2012).

thats not exactly how it works. there is a thing called game day. They, unlike other teams, must play 48 of these in the next 4 years.
let it play out nancy

Are you talking about off season championships, if so. I agree.
