Dear Coach Saban (The Greatest of All-Time),

They say celebrities & pro athletes are to busy to surf the internet and see what people are saying about them. A celebrity would never surf a website, they’ll never see what you write about them.

I disagree.

If I were a celebrity or famous athlete/coach, my favorite thing to do at lunchtime would be to surf the web to see what the fans are saying about me. I also know Coach Saban wouldn’t surf a pay site like Bamaonline, Tider Insider, etc, so there’s a dang good chance this site is on his top 3-4 that he views weekly. So, now that I know you are reading this Nick, there’s a few things you need to hear. This will sound rude, so before you read this, understand that I think Coach Nick Saban is the greatest of all-time. But, here are some mistakes you have made this year, and if you continue to make these mistakes, it will cost you your 6th National Championship.

#1, you made a mistake rolling with Jalen Hurts over Tua. As a person, Jalen Hurts is a wonderful young man, and he’s a phenomenal athlete. But sadly, Jalen CAN NOT THROW THE FOOTBALL. Jalen CAN NOT MAKE HIS READS patiently. The ball is snapped to him, he watches Ridley, gives that about 1.5 seconds, panics, and runs for 2 yards. No, I’m not going to spend a whole lot of time on this topic, because at this point in the season, it’s too late to make the change to Tua. You’ve got to roll with Jalen now. But here is what should’ve happened....

Tua wouldn’t have been ready for FSU in Week 1. Play Hurts in Week 1, then quietly make the change to Tua for Week 2. He could have started out with 2 easy home games vs Fresno St & Colorado St to get his confidence up. Then, his 1st road game could have been week 4 vs Vandy, which would have not been too overwhelming. Then, his 1st SEC home game, vs a rebuilding Ole Miss. Then, by November 25th, Tua would have had 10 games under his belt, & we wouldn’t have been completely embarrassed by Auburn.

Here’s what it boils down to. When Jalen Hurts plays below average teams (Mississippi state, Ole Miss, Mercer, Fresno State, Tennessee, Colorado state, etc.), he looks like the 2nd coming of Tim Tebow. But, when it comes down to those 3-4 games at the end of the season when wehave to go through elite elite elite elite teams to win a national championship, Jalen hurts won’t and can’t get the job done. Here’s the problem...the man can’t throw.

Like I said, it’s too late now, you can’t make the switch. But I fully expect, and I know most of the Fanbase does too, to see Tua as the starting quarterback for Alabama next season.

Part II Coming Tomorrow...

As a matter of fact everyone who sees this thread is just going to give you crap about it. Delete it and save some dignity.

You must have been the one writing long letters to your crush who never looked your way.

Open letters are downright cringeworthy.

Agreed, he made baby steps this year when he needed to make a leap. Next year is TuaTime and if our offense looks like it did the second half of the season (No real reason to believe otherwise) than I would like to see Tua play vs Clemson.

OP wrote a letter to Saban, but doesn't know the difference between to and too. Saban would rip his head off for the poor execution.
