Bama will not be a final four team unless Wisconsin loses. OU is not going to lose.

As I said after your NC loss last year, Bama won't win another NC under Saban.

It's just a hunch. These things are usually hard to see at the time. In a few years, we'll look back and see the loss to Clemson was the turning point.

At least the Peach Bowl will be a close drive for you.

We'll see. Saban is 66 years old. He looked old and pained in the loss to Auburn.

Need to win your conference to be in the final four

OSU didn’t last year and still got put in

I’m not all that confident Bama would win if they got in. The issues on the team aren’t just going to disappear.

4) Wisconsin (with a loss falls to #10 or so)
5) Alabama (not playing)
6) Georgia (with a win easily jumps into top-4, with a loss out of top-10)
7) Miami (11-1, beating Clemson and winning ACC puts them in playoffs. Losing drops them out of the top 10)
8) Ohio St.

Even if Wisconsin loses.. it's set up to let Ohio St. and Wisconsin trade spots. Ohio St. is ranked #8 but if Clemson and Auburn win they're really sitting next to Alabama at #6 by virtue of Miami and Georgia falling.

Before taking Ohio States win into consideration in this scenario.. the ranking really looks like:
1) Clemson
2) Auburn/Georgia
3) Oklahoma
4) Alabama (Did not win division, spot is not locked in)
5) Ohio St (Beat #4 and is Big10 champ, spot is not locked in)

You don't think Ohio St. moves up just 1 spot in the ranking after beating a top-4 team and winning the Big10?

It's a possibility. Bama usually drops one game even in years they win the NC. Have ya'll ever gone undefeated? I think maybe once or maybe twice?
