For all the ones that were bitching about A&M letting him know he was fired before the LSU game you can now let them know he had a new job before he was fired from his current one lol.

I imagine between Buzzy Bee's rant and yesterday, there's been some communication between our AD and theirs along with Sumlin's agent.

I'm completely cool with it.
If A&M gives him a heads up I'm glad his agent floated his name out to other schools.

He'll go from being 4th in the SEC West to 4th in the PAC 12 South (behind USC, UCLA and Utah/Arizona).

Am told the speculation about Kevin Sumlin to #ASU being a done deal is completely false. Source has told me there has been no contact between ASU & Sumlin or anyone who represents him.

I haven’t seen many people say that and if someone did it was probably just out of frustration/spite after a loss.
Sumlin isn’t a bad coach, he’s just not a good one either, he’s mediocre. But he will spin his time here as a positive for his resume, and in fact he already was doing it last night at the post game press conference when he mentioned about turning A&M into a national brand and never having a losing season. Well, I think Johnny had more to do with putting us on the map that sumlin did, and not having a losing season isn’t good enough either, we want so win championships which is why he was getting paid what he was.
All that to say it was obvious someone else would give him a shot, and I’m not surprised it’s a PAC 12 team, I think he will do well there. As CGSC said, he will probably be 4-6 place most years behind Washington, USC, and UCLA now with Kelley. Maybe that will be enough to keep him around Arizona state for awhile, maybe not, time will tell.

PAC 12 North: California, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington, Washington State
PAC 12 South: Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, UCLA, USC, Utah
He won't be last place in the South. He's never finished dead last in a Division over his entire career.

I just don't think Sumlin will do much better than what Graham was doing. I think he will basically the exact same as Graham
