Rank the job openings in the SEC

It’s a great year to be a college coach with any story to tell. In the SEC alone you may have openings at Florida, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas and Ole Miss. How would you rank these jobs?
I have them ranked in the order listed. Florida is in the easier to win East, has a good football history and is in a recruit rich area.
I have the Aggies next because there are so many recruits in Texas and not so many in Tennessee. Both places have nice stadiums and facilities.
Then comesTennessee. Are their glory days over? They have to rely more on out of state recruiting than Florida and A&M. Tennessee was much more of a plum job when Fulmer left than it is now. Having Alabama on their schedule every year doesn’t help, it puts them at a disadvantage over the other East teams who don’t have that almost automatic loss on their schedule.
My next school is Arkansas, but only because of the NCAA cloud over Ole Miss. But for that, I think Ole Miss is a better place to coach.
Ole Miss is in a tough spot. A coach that goes there has to be wiling to rebuild and take his lumps a couple years. If I were Ole Miss I might take a chance on a bright up and coming coach who lacks the resume’ for a big hire. If there are three really good coaches looking, it’s hard to see any of the three picking Ole Miss over opportunities at Florida, A&M and Tennessee.

Isn’t Florida filled already?

Tennessee's a sleeping giant. They've just hired terrible coaches lately. With a decent coach, they could be in contention for the SEC again.

I am going to AM. They would pay me, and my digs are new.

It’s much more about the fit with the HC being the right person at right time.
Recent hires should show that many hired this offseason will be fired soon like past years.

Florida
A&M
Tenn/Ark
OM
Recruiting territory really holds Ark back but they have a unique base/atmosphere and obviously a lot of money. A&M and Florida respectively have all the recruiting talent around them anyone could ask for.

FL
TN
TAMU
AR
OM
NOW...
Fl
TAMU/AR
UT
OM
here is why, we are talking about the overall job. Not the amount of seats in a stadium, but the support, money, facilities, Fandom, etc.
Arkansas has shown in the last two hires (on paper) to have made the best two hires. Even Florida has been worse combined with Muschamp and Shark Romancer. But they have some unbelievable recruiting and history.
OM is done, dumpster fire.
TAMU is freakishly weird, occult level..
Tenner has wasted so much money, time, effort and have slid out of the memories of current recruits at having any success at all.
Arkansas played in the Sugar Bowl and had a top 5 team at the end of the year play in the Cotton Bowl. Two big names were hired (no pun intended). and has shown by firing out AD that winning is important.
so... I rest my case.

For the most part I agree with your post. I guess you didn't go to the game in Knoxville Sat night. Half the lights went out, and a piece of the scoreboard blew off and hit a LSU fan. It is a big stadium, but that place is dangerous and needs to be upgraded or condemned.

You realize that Ole Miss is at the bottom of the SEC and the only time they were good was when the coach was banging hookers and 5* recruits had gas mask bongs.
Not saying it isn't a good place, but what is up with OM being a better place to coach vs Arkansas?

Tennessee- sleeping giant. Only school in the state. Has won a lot in their history by recruiting west tn, georgia and Ohio.
Florida- saddled with being a skill position only state that has to play finesse football to win. Good program but never will have long term sustained success.
A&m- texas longhorns in same state.
Ole miss- just doesn't have the name or tradition. A 2 star prospect school.

Bama, State, and OM all recruit Memphis as well as UT. Metropolitan areas aren't where you get your die hard fanbases of one and only one flavor. Especially when they are 4 hours away from your university.
The other side of that is Nashville is absolutely exploding. But again, lot of variety there when it comes to allegiance. Establishing a target base and locking it down is something the next coach will have to do, critical task.
