Saban: I still believe Butch is a good coach, Tennessee struggled because their QBs sucked

Saban has literally never spoken poorly of another coach. I'm almost sure of it.

I hate Saban saying "expectations get too high". To me, that is him saying, "look, no one can compete with me, so don't get too down on yourselves". He is at a school where he's created an atmosphere of NC or bust every year. Not every other year or every 4 years, it's every single year.

Yea, Saban concocted a way to make himself look good if by some chance a caller asked him about Butch Jones on his coaches show.
Or, he just always speaks well of other coaches.
Probably the first.

Ha. Saban scared so needs to say that thinking he'd scare gruden away with the 'expectations" line.
Also, saban isnt stupid enough to believe he can say jones is a good coach, and blame not having a QB this year. Who's fault is that? If jones was worth a lick he would have had a qb ready. He was to big headed thinking that his Dobbs years was going to let him stay. No way he thinks he's a good coach for realz.
Also, he may be trolling ole miss to make sure they hire him. Ha. Keeps them a loss. And is saban a sexton guy?? If so he's helping him out. Good coach? No QB? Ole miss needs a coach and has good QBs...ha what a sly bastard. Ha!!!!
