Charlie Williams Pinecrest would not fit.

Harry's. Probably not nearly big enough, though.

Yudy’s or the China buffet that used to be there.

Serious answer: 5 Star Day
I know it’s a small chain but I would’ve drunkenly slammed some Pokey Stix from Gumby’s on Saturday night.

Welp, another goes down. Copper Creek is closing it’s doors on Saturday. Citing too much competition in the local the craft beer scene. Sucks. Beer wasn’t amazing, but it was local.
On the flipside Akademia Brewing recently opened off of Atlanta Hwy. Location isn’t great, but they did a great job with the space and the beer and food is legit.

Long ago, there was a divey place on Baxter, across the street from and a short walk up from Russell Hall. I think it's where there is now either the Dominoes or Pizza Hut. Kind of hard to recall exactly...
It was mostly subs and stuff of that sort but about the only thing I remember is that the popular item was enormous cheese nachos, which they would cover with an ungodly amount of sliced jalapenos.
You would be in pain for days afterward.
Anyone have any clue what that place was called? This was early 80's. It was pretty close to a Ringers coin laundry, if I recall.

For the location, I'd go with 5 Star or Compadres. The restaurant I miss the most is probably Charlie Williams Pinecrest Lodge, though.
My other choice would be Jamburritos. It was a burrito shop on the east side of town that was only open for like a year, around 2001, and it was phenomenal. By far the best of the fast food burrito shops.
I still don't get Barberitos. I think the food is pretty bad, but it has a great location.
