Fact.

Aggy - “We should NEVER lose to a school from Mississippi!”

Same Aggy - “Let’s hire a coach that just lost to the #2 program in Iowa!”

You've convinced me.

Extend Sumlin for 50 years and guarantee him for $1 Billion.

Nobody said extend Sumlin.

But I can promise you'd be coming up with all kinds of random stats for why whoever we hire sucks and will never lead us anywhere.

I was fully off the Rumlin train after UCLA. I have no problem if he is canned. There was a moment mid season when it looked like one more year might potentially be worthwhile to get a better look at what the up and coming HCs could do but that time has passed. He'd have to win out and blow out LSU to have a sliver of a chance of staying and that just ain't happening.

That there are certain peeps who are never going to be happy unless we are reeling off Saban-esque results.

And again, it isn't simply about wins/losses. It's the complete and total ineptitude exhibited by Sumlin's teams the second half of the year every single season.

We looked like the worst team in FBS against Mississippi State. Just abysmal.

Agreed, but many people come up with other dumb arse justifications which is the point I believe OP was trying to make.

FSU with 42 yards of offense in first half. Guess that’s a no for Fisher.

Lane Kiffin will probably lead his team to a CUSA title

This has nothing to do with Sumlin. Again, all the other guys who have constantly been mentioned as replacements would be getting flamed like crazy if they were having their current seasons here in Aggieland.

Jimbo Fisher would already have a statue out in front of Kyle, a shot named after him at the Dry Bean and a lifetime contract if he had accomplished at A&M what he has at FSU. He'd be untouchable.

I don't think you understand how desperate and cuckold this fanbase is. If a coach won a natty here he could go 3-4 years without winning a conference game before his seat got hot.

If we won a natty I would still be too busy jerking my little aggy dick to care about going 5-7 FYI FWIW

First off, don't use the term cuckold like that. It's wrong usage and makes you sound like a political tool who bitches about fake twisted news while you happily mainline fake twisted news that supports your side.

Second. No. I'm sorry but you are wrong. Jimbo would be getting shite on as a guy who got lucky with a QB that carried him in a weak conference. He'd be getting the Les Miles GTFO treatment.

Not only that, but since the rumor is that it would take $10 million per year to get him everyone would be freaking the hell out that he had come here and used us to get a fat retirement golden parachute gig.

Don't lie to yourself just b/c you hate Sumlin. With the money numbers being thrown around it would be straight up unacceptable and a fireable offense to go 3-6 no matter what. Petersen failing to win the division and losing to the only conference foes with above .500 records would be proof he is a fraud. MacIntyre falling to 5-6 a year after winning the division but getting annihilated in the title game would put him on the chopping block. Dantonio getting blown the frick out by Ohio State a year after a 3-9 season would be proof he was done b/c it's impossible to come back from a beatdown like that.

This is not an endorsement of Sumlin. I am simply pointing out y'all's mob mentality that would absolutely take over BECAUSE WE'RE TEXAS A&M AND WE GIVE YOU ALL THE FACILITIES AND HAVE THE RECRUITS IN STATE AND ITS UNACCEPTABLE TO EVER LOSE TO CERTAIN TEAMS AND I DONT WANT TO HEAR WHATEVER EXCUSE YOU HAVE EVEN IF ITS LEGIT. You know it's true my man. I mean shite dude at saying we could go even one year winless in conference with nobody saying anything about it.

If a person is level headed they will allow a bad season....maybe two if their is extenuating circumstances. I always point to Swinney, he went 6-7 in his third year with Clemson back in 2010. They stuck with him and look at how it’s paid out.

Yes we are impatient right now, but we’ve had 4 seasons of being incredibly average when we had ourselves convinced we were taking the next step.

Most of us will give the new guy his fair chance, don’t lump us all into one category.

Jimbo's resume would qualify for:

-Highest win% in modern history
-Most bowl wins in school history
-most top 5 finishes in school history
-most 10 win seasons in school history
-most top 10 finishes in school history
-1st national championship in 75 years
